BOYCOTT RUSH!
We
here at Chuck69.com urge you
to boycott any business that
advertises on The Rush Limbaugh
Show for his
stupid and uncalled for
comments on Sandra Fluke for
her stance on women's
rights. The three companies'
logos I've posted above -
Meijer, Spartan Stores (who
own Family Fare and D&W
here in Grand Rapids) and
Metro PCS all advertised
during his show, aired
locally on WOOD-FM/AM here
in Grand Rapids last week
and on their website on
Rush's page.
It's also worth noting that
yes, another retailer in
Grand Rapids, Walmart
advertises on Rush's program
nationally. (3.21 EDIT:
Walmart/Sam's Club have
yanked their spots on Rush's
show)
Of course, Meijer and
Spartan pretty much run the
grocery game here in Grand
Rapids. Even small
independent stores like
Gordy's, Duthler's and
Forest Hills Foods are
affiliated with Spartan,
which might make it harder
to boycott both chains in
town. However, the following
stores in Grand Rapids ARE
NOT supplied by Spartan, and
as far as we know, do not
advertise on Rush:

As we all know by now,
British Petroleum is in a heap of trouble
because of the Deepwater Horizon disaster
that's spilling 5,000-to-25,000 barrels of
oil per day into the Atlantic Ocean and is
threatening wildlife and even us humans.
True, BP is spending millions on cleanup
as required by the government, they should
have invested half a million bucks on a
safety valve that could have prevented
this disaster from happening in the first
place instead of giving it to the CEO as a
bonus.
We here at Chuck69.com are urging you
to boycott BP gas and oil - including
Castrol - for choosing profits instead
of the safety of people and animals. We
also urge you to check out this Twitter
page that features articles regarding
the disaster and how you can further ban
BP from your life.
Remember, the Exxon Valdez disaster
occurred over 20 years ago and they're
STILL cleaning up from that quagmire.
Imagine how horrible this disaster will
be.

ENERGY DRINKS!
We here at
Chuck69.com are urging you to
boycott Rockstar Energy Drinks.
The company is owned by the family
of controversial right-winged talk
radio host Michael Savage, who
recently bashed those with autism
on his program. He even told a gay
caller on his show to die of AIDS
several years ago. We feel that
Savage's remarks were hurtful and
feel that his program should be
boycotted, along with his
affiliates and sponsors. Rockstar
is owned by Savage, along with his
son Russell Goldencloud Weiner,
who shares his father's idiotic
views.
